As part of our growing hospitality team, we are seeking passionate Food Services Assistants (FSAs) to join our agency pool for on-call and rostered shifts.
About the Role:
As an Agency FSA, you’ll work across different healthcare and aged care settings, supporting kitchen operations and ensuring residents receive nutritious and enjoyable meals in a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing, plating, and serving meals and beverages
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness in line with food safety standards
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and assist with stock rotation
• Follow dietary plans and special requirements (e.g. texture-modified meals)
• Work collaboratively with chefs, care staff, and facility teams
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a food services or kitchenhand role (preferably in aged care or health settings)
• Understanding of safe food handling and hygiene practices
• Food Safety Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain)
• Ability to adapt to different kitchen environments
• Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (as required by health directives)
